Part time (3 days a week). £28,000pa pro rata

This is your opportunity to play a key role in the campaign for a democratic alternative to the monarchy.

You will play a leading role in delivering logistical support for Republic's protests and events, as well as managing membership, support and shop enquiries and supporting the Operations Manager and CEO in a range of tasks.

Republic is continuing to develop its protests alongside more robust campaigns, while also seeking rapid growth in membership and supporter numbers. This is your chance to help us deliver those objectives.

* Republic is committed to equal opportunities and to ensuring everyone with the right skills and experience has the opportunity to apply. The team is keen to ensure black, Asian and people from other minority ethnic communities, as well as disabled people and LGBT people all feel comfortable applying. All applications will be dealt with on merit and judged by relevant skills and experience.

The role

Your role will include:

  • Manage the enquiries email inbox, prioritising the workload and replying to a wide variety of queries and requests
  • Assist with the monitoring of Republic phone messages, replying to those who need a response and handling queries over the phone

  • Assist the Operations Manager with day-to-day monitoring of Republic Shop, including processing orders and dealing with enquiries
  • Support the Operations Manager in the development and delivery of successful events through efficient and timely logistical support
  • Support the Protest and Activism Officer in providing efficient and timely logistical support for protests, ensuring equipment and infrastructure (including Chuck!) are effectively delivered and utilised, stored and managed.
