More than a thousand people will be protesting as Charles's parade comes up the Mall, through Trafalgar Square and down to Westminster Abbey.
Where
Trafalgar Square, near Charles I statue at the top end of Whitehall.
When
The Republic team will be there from 6am. We're encouraging as many people as possible to get there for 8am, but keep on turning up throughout the morning!
We want the biggest protest possible by time Charles comes back from the Abbey sometime around 1pm.
What to bring
We'll be there a while, so bring snacks and water. We'll have lots of placards, but feel free to bring your own. If you do bring your own try to make it yellow if you can!
How to get there
We've assessed the crowds at previous royal events and believe it will be fairly easy to reach the protest throughout the morning. The best routes will be along the Strand from Charing Cross station, Cockspur Street from Piccadilly Square or Northumberland Avenue from Embankment tube station. The protest will be centred around the roundabout where the Charles I statue is.
Accessibility Guide
If you have any queries surrounding accessibility for the event, please check out our handy Accessibility Guide here.
Wear yellow!
We want to create a sea of yellow. We will be bringing lots of placards, but you can bring your own too (make them yellow!) and we're asking everyone to wear yellow on the day.
