Get involved with other local Republic supporters. We'll be in Truro on the day, promoting the campaign.

We do not consent to the coronation of "King Charles III". The monarchy is archaic and inappropriate in a modern, purportedly democratic state. We will demonstrate our disapproval peacefully and with good humour.

Assemble at Lemon Quay (near M & S) for 11am. Bring placards and wear your own "magic hat" if you wish (it won't make you king though).

We'll get some photos for social media and there'll be an open-mic session for anyone who wants to speak.

Around 11.30 we'll decide on a couple of locations to hand out leaflets/stickers to members of the public.

At midday-ish we'll walk through to Victoria Gardens for a Republican Picnic in the Park so bring snacks (Pollen in the Park should be open for hot drinks and cake).

All timings are approximate depending on numbers attending and the weather.

Best place for parking is Garras Wharf near Tesco.
