The Royal Maundy Service in St. Asaph was met by an anti-monarchy protest today, calling for Charles to answer questions about his involvement in the Andrew scandal.
Protestors from the campaign group Republic chanted 'Charles, what did you know?' as Charles and Camilla entered St Asaph Cathedral this morning.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested on the 19th February, in response to a crime report sent to Thames Valley Police by Republic's CEO Graham Smith.
Speaking for Republic, Graham Smith said:
"Charles shouldn't be able to avoid questions about his complicity in the Andrew scandal."
"The public wants answers. That's why activists were protesting in North Wales today."
"Charles gave out a few pounds in ceremonial money to pensioners today, but he and his mother paid £12m to the late Virginia Giuffre."
"It's not credible to believe Charles and William weren't aware of the allegations against Andrew years ago. Which begs the question, why didn't they act years ago."
"Protests and heckles will continue until there's a full Royal Epstein Inquiry."
