Republic Edinburgh will be attending a march and rally organised by Scotland Demands Better, which is a coalition of organisations calling for better investment in public services, homes and infrastructure. 

Abolishing the Monarchy is a part of that change and would free up much-needed money for these improvements. This is a great opportunity for local activists to do outreach with other organisations and campaigners who may be interested in supporting Republic Edinburgh.

The Republic Edinburgh group will be meeting at 10am in front of the Scottish Parliament building before joining the march at 11am. The route will go up the Royal Mile and then turn off to The Meadows where there will be a rally starting at 1pm. Even if you can't make the entirety of the day, the Republic Edinburgh group welcome you to attend and come along!
