Will you volunteer at Republic Day 2026?

Republic Day is growing year on year, and our plans for Republic Day in 2026 are HUGE. Will you help us out by signing up for a volunteer role at Republic Day 2026?

Our volunteers had a fantastic time at our Republic Day event in 2024 and 2025, getting to know and work with other Republic members and activists.

Here are some roles you could help us with:

• Flag Team: help to distribute and hold various Republic flags, making sure they look great on Trafalgar Square and are used on the march. 
• Banner Team: help hold our amazing banners on Trafalgar Square and take them up to Buckingham Palace too.
• Gazebo Team : help to put up the Gazebos and chat with the public on the square.
• Placard Team : help to give out our placards before marching on Buckingham Palace.
• Outreach Team: supports in handing out materials and leaflets.
• Steward Team: Ensures the wellbeing of peoples on site and helping with the coordination and smooth running of the rally and march.
• Chuck the Rex Team: helps with assembling and coordinating our dinosaur... Chuck the Rex! There will be training workshops for this role so register your interest early to become a part of the team.
