When March 11, 2024 at 12:00pm 4 hrs

Polls this year have shown less than half of the UK public want a monarchy above an elected head of state.

As shown by William and Kate's disastrous Caribbean trip - the people of the Commonwealth want to see the back of them too.

The royals' legitimacy is going up in smoke.

So, join us at Westminster Abbey, where the royals will be making an appearance for the Commonwealth Day service.

Together, we can change the country for good.

PLEDGE TO PROTEST

Location

The best vantage spot of Westminster Abbey is United Nations Green, situated directly across from the church. We’ll be amassing there to set up our protest.

Travel

There are multiple tube stations that protestors can use to get to the area on the day, such as:

- St James’ Park (0.2mi away, 4 min walk)

- Westminster (0.2mi away, 6 min walk)

- Victoria (0.6mi away, 13 min walk)

PLEDGE TO PROTEST

Timings

The protest officially starts at 12.00pm, with Royals expected to turn up a couple of hours later. The Republic team and volunteers will be setting up from 11:00am onwards, so, if you can, turn up from then to help get our protest underway!

Further Info

Keep updated with our social media channels, which will give out key updates in the build-up and on the day. Find these HERE.
