Charles and William should make a statement on Andrew's arrest in front of journalists and be prepared to answer questions.
That's according to campaign group Republic who reported Andrew to the police last week, and who have been pursuing a private prosecution of the former prince.
Speaking for Republic, Graham Smith said today:
"The silence from the Palace is deafening. So far it's only been a couple of journalists and a number of hecklers who have challenged the royals directly."
"That has to change. Now. Charles and William should stand together in front of the cameras. They need to make a full statement and answer questions from journalists."
"That statement must be more than platitudes. They must address what they knew and when, how Andrew's conduct was unreported for so long. And they must recognise the plight of the victims of Epstein's crimes and speak up on the need for accountability and justice."
"Most important of all, Charles must make it clear that the police should follow the evidence wherever it leads them, investigating without fear or favour. He must announce that all royal archives and files will be made available to police, and made available to politicians and journalists."
