When July 05, 2023 at 10:30am

Where?
Lawnmarket, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH1 1PT.

What time?
Meet at Lawnmarket from 10.30am onwards, or 8am if you can.

What’s happening?

That's right. Charles is having ANOTHER Coronation, this time in Edinburgh. Another pointless parade, another reckless waste of public money.

So, of course, we'll be protesting it. Read below for more info!

Location
The planned route for the procession is from the Palace of Holyroodhouse to St Giles' Cathedral. We'll be outside, at the end of Lanwmarket, showing Charles that he's not our King. A map of the area is attached below.

There's a good chance there might already be a crowd by the time you get to the spot, or it might be tricky to tell where we're congregating. In that case, look for people wearing yellow, yellow banners, yellow placards and yellow flags, these are our identifiers (Especially if they have 'Not My King' written on them)!

Nearest Transport

The easiest way to get to our protest spot on the day is to use rail or bus links. For this, there are two main transport hubs:

  • Edinburgh Waverley, 0.3mi to the North.
  • Haymarket, 1.3mi to the West (Please use the route past Princes' Street Gardens for accessibility).

How to Hear More

That's pretty simple really. Just sign our 'Pledge to Protest' and put your name down for regular email alerts. We'll communicate via this in the run-up. Also, join our Telegram chat, where you'll get running updates on the day of the protest with important information.

See you there!
