Encouraging supporters to take action - and making it easy for them to do so - is central to our strategy. It could be writing to an MP, making a complaint or signing a petition - anything that puts  pressure on the monarchy and makes those in power take notice of the republican movement.

We run a series of these actions throughout the year - responding to breaking news, government consultations or royal events - and make sure that supporters have all the information they need to make the biggest possible impact.

We also put a lot of time and energy into supporting local republican campaigns, helping to improve the visibility of republicanism in the community and ensuring Republic reaches every part of the country. We do this by:

  • providing advice and resources to local campaigns
  • promoting local campaign events
  • running quarterly activist days to train volunteers and allow them to share experiences
