Members' Page

As a member of Republic, you're playing a crucial role in the republican movement. Thank you.
To help you make the most of your membership, we've put together a special Members' FAQ. Here we answer some of the most common questions from members.
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact our membership department by calling 08708 508 825 or emailing
members@republic.org.uk.
How do I renew my membership?
The quickest, easiest and most efficient way to pay your membership subscription is by monthly credit or debit card payment. Not only does this reduce our administration costs - it also means you'll never again have to worry about renewing!
Visit the
membership renewal page to set up a monthly payment now. Or, alternatively,
print the form to set up a standing order with your bank.
If you prefer to renew with a one-off payment, you can do so online using our
one-pay form or by calling 08708 508 825. If you want to pay by cheque, please
print the form.
How do I change my details?
I've lost my membership card - can I get a new one?
We're happy to replace lost membership cards free of charge. Simply email
members@republic.org.uk or call 08708 508 825 and we'll arrange for a new card to be sent to you.
I've got an idea - how can I let Republic know?
We're always delighted to hear our members' ideas and will do our best to respond promptly.
If your idea concerns general campaign strategy contact Campaign Manager Graham Smith by emailing
g.smith@republic.org.uk or calling him on 07747 608 770. If you have an idea for recruiting new members or raising money for Republic contact Development and Membership Manager James Gray by emailing
j.gray@republic.org.uk.
How can I assist the national campaign team?
If you want to become more involved in the campaign, the easiest and most effective way of supporting us is by responding to our regular members' Campaign Alert emails.
These go out to members every week and highlight a specific action that you can take - such as writing to your MP, commenting online or sending a letter to a newspaper. These are really effective, leading directly to media coverage and new members.
You can also join the
Urgent Response Network, which means we'll contact you when a story is breaking and requires immediate action. Why not
sign up today?
There are also a range of volunteering opportunities for members -

How do I make a donation to Republic's campaign fund?
Many of our members choose to make a donation, helping us expand our campaign. You can make your donation right now by using our simple
donation form.
To find out more about fundraising for Republic, including what your donation can help us achieve, visit our

How can I meet other members?
The two key events in the Republic calendar are our Spring Conference (held in a different town or city each year) and our summer Annual Conference (held every year in London). These are both great opportunities to meet other Republic members. We also hold other members' events throughout the year - keep checking our
What's On page for details.
Another great way of meeting members is by volunteering - helping out an event, joining a phone bank session or contributing your skills to a working group on a specific issue. Find out more about
volunteering for Republic.
You can also meet other members online by joining in the debate at the
Republic Blog or becoming a 'fan' of our page on
Facebook.
Can I buy membership as a gift?
Yes! Membership makes a great gift for a republican friend or family member. Just purchase membership in the normal way, inputting the recipient's details.
Can I write for Imagine?
