22 Jun 2011 The Campaign Team
We’re currently reviewing the website with a view to a complete re-design. We want it to focus much more on selling our core messages to the large number of people who currently aren’t persuaded but are open to persuasion. And of course the bulk of the 20% out there who currently aren’t members of Republic.
So we’ll be stripping the website down to its bare minimum and then placing a lot of factual content into a ‘fact file’ area on the site. We’re looking at developing some interactive content and more images, and audio-visual tools to get our message across.
We’re still committed to encouraging debate among our supporters but we’re keen to place that debate in a single place and in a forum that is more manageable. That means we’ll be moving the focus of discussion to our Facebook page.
As we go through the process of developing the site we’d like to hear your views on what can be improved, what content you like and what you think is missing (or what you think we should remove). Do you have any ideas for interactive and audio-visual content or new online initiatives that could draw people into supporting our cause?
