Staff and Directors

Emily Robinson was elected to the Board in October 2006, became Vice Chair in July 2010 and elected Executive Chair in November of the same year. Emily is a lecturer and academic with the University of East Anglia.
Jen Gingell was elected to the board in November 2010 and was appointed as Vice Chair that same month. Jen has been heavily organised in running Republic's events since mid-2009 and works in the banking sector.
Tim Sharp joined Republic's board in 2009 and served on the Management Committee since becoming a director. He was appointed Treasurer in November 2010.
Graham Smith is Republic's Chief Executive Officer, and has worked full-time for the organisation since mid-2005. Graham's background is in party political campaigning and the corporate sector.
Other directors have backgrounds in business, finance, academia, IT and political campaigning. They represent the full spectrum of political opinion and social backgrounds and ages range from mid-twenties to early seventies.
