About Republic

Republic is a membership-based pressure group calling for the monarchy to be replaced with an elected head of state and for the adoption of a new republican constitution. We lobby politicians and opinion-formers, conduct a pro-active media campaign, undertake original research on the monarchy, comment on royal stories in the media, conduct talks and classes in schools and universities and provide information on republicanism.
