Volunteer

volunteers Want to do something extra to help?

Republic is keen to make full use of your skills and commitment, so whatever you can do, if you'd like to do something, get in touch.

We want to invest time and energy in our volunteers, so in return we need people who have the time and commitment to stick with us and really help make a difference.

Our staff and volunteers work from home, working together through email, phone calls and meeting regularly in London.

What you can do

Areas that you might be able to help with:

  • Admin and general assistance - helping Campaign Manager Graham Smith manage the day-to-day jobs and doing the tasks we never quite get around to.
  • Research - using the internet and traditional sources of information to research a wide range of issues and topics.
  • Web design - working alongside Graham to help keep the website up-to-date and fresh.
  • e-Campaigning - helping us with promoting the cause online, using email, blogging and social networking sites.
  • Parliamentary work - working with us to promote debate in Westminster and the devolved assemblies
  • Graphic design - helping us put together our regular magazine and other promotional materials

We're currently running the 2010 Fighting Fund Appeal, raising money so we can continue to make the case for a republic. We're a small organisation that relies almost entirely on donations from ordinary citizens around the country, people like you who want to see real change.
