Protest at the palace

Join us next time in protest outside Buckingham palace.

On Saturday June 25 Republic supporters gathered outside Buckingham palace to protest against the continued waste of taxpayers' money being spent on the monarchy.

The theme for the protest was timed to coincide with the release the following week of the royal finance reports. Republic has released a report which shows the total cost of the monarchy to be over £200m a year. You can read more about it on our royal finances page.
