Sometimes your donation will enable us to target specific groups of people, e.g. by helping to cover the costs of a mailing to MPs, or a press briefing for journalists.

At other times, your donation will help us reach out to a much wider audience, e.g. by going towards the cost of placing adverts, printing leaflets and subscribing to bulk emailing software.

Here are some more specific examples of what your donation will help us achieve:

  supports Republic's e-campaigning for a whole month, including hosting and maintaining our website and sending our e-bulletins and Campaign Alerts

  enables Republic to produce 100 A4 posters, reaching hundreds of potential supporters

  pays for a mailing to all MPs in the House of Commons, bringing the views of republicans like you directly to our elected representatives

  produces 2,000 leaflets, to be distributed at conferences, talks and events

  supports our lobbying and media work for a week, building support among politicians, journalists and other opinion-formers

  pays for a banner advert on a national newspaper's website, reaching 20,000 potential supporters

  buys a full page advert in a political magazine, reaching tens of thousands of highly-focused readers

  buys a quarter page advert in a national newspaper, reaching hundreds of thousands of supporters

  supports the cost of delivering Republic's schools programme for a full year, bringing our message to the next generation of activists and campaigners

Making a monthly donation is the most efficient way to support our campaigning. Not only does it reduce our administration costs - it also helps us plan for the future. You can set up a regular gift by credit/debit card online or over the phone on 020 7608 5742.

You can also set up a standing order by printing out and posting the form.

Network '25

Network '25 is Republic's regular giving club, created for our most committed supporters. In return for a monthly donation of £25 or more, you'll receive a range of benefits including invitations to special events and regular reports from Republic's campaign team. One-off gifts

Some of our supporters prefer to make one-off donations. Even the smallest gift makes a real difference to what we can achieve. You can make a one-off gift by credit/debit card online or by calling 020 7608 5742.

Major gifts

If you have the capacity to make a substantial donation (more than £1,000), you may prefer to see your gift used in a specific way - for example to support a new post, conference or publication.

Fundraising events

If you have like-minded friends who agree with you on the monarchy, why not organise a fundraising event? Pub quizzes, raffles and comedy nights are all good ways of raising money and having fun.
